I went back to the doctor today for a follow up visit. She checked my cervix again and found that it had shortened compared to Thursday's visit so the doctor ordered bed rest for the next week to see if my cervix would stabilize. It is so hard to sit at home knowing there are many projects around me that I cannot work on! Luckily the nursery is almost done. We ordered the furniture this past weekend and the only other major project for the room is picking out the carpet. So this week I am going to try to fill my days with video games, thank you cards, movies and maybe a puzzle. Tomorrow, I will spend some time posting the updated pictures of the nursery.
Just rest!! It would drive me crazy to be on bed rest, because I can't stand sitting still. But, you need to do whatever is best for the baby! I will be thinking of you!
